Health Center

Medical services, including health education, are available on-site. At COPE Center North, these services are provided jointly by the Economic Family Health Center, Inc. and the COPE Center North school nurse.

Recognizing the "special needs" of the student population, the following services are available with consent from enrolled students:

• Physical examination and therapeutic management
• Preconception education for prevention of pregnancy and diseases
• Prenatal care and management
• Parenting education and counseling
• Health maintenance and disease prevention education related to substance use and abuse, addictive habits and nutrition
• HIV screening and counseling
• Healthy Start screening and case management
